True Star recently had the privilege of hosting a Brunch & Broadcast event at the North Lawndale Christian Center with esteemed elected leaders Alderwoman Monique Scott, State Rep Yolanda Morris, and State Senator Lakesia Collins. The three women were treated to presentations from the True Star students about the impact that the organization has made in their lives.
The event was the perfect kick-off to True Star’s return to the West Side. True Star has not had a program on this side of Chicago since the pandemic. We are excited to announce that we now have a podcast program at BBF Family Services (formally known as the Better Boys Foundation) in North Lawndale.
